Kelbe Yoga is a practice that incorporates elements from several vinyasa-based yoga styles, which means that it features a fluid series of poses woven together through the connection of breath and movement.
Classes start with grounding, connecting to the breath and the present moment, and then adding movement to build heat in the body. All classes focus on safe and proper alignment and often use props to customize and modify the poses to fit what your body needs that day. Each session includes variations on sun salutations and a standing flow series to build strength, flexibility, and endurance, and ends with seated stretching to use the heat built throughout class to lengthen the body.
You will most likely work up a sweat, but, since there are many opportunities for personalization, you’ll be able to follow your own pace and get out of it exactly what you need. The class is sure to quiet your mind, invigorate your body, and leave you feeling connected and balanced.
