Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice. Mixing the elements of slow moving and transitioning towards a beginners flow bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. Yang Yoga, in contrast, refers to a more active practice working on the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility. Yin yoga is the complimentary contrast that helps us dive deep into the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues. A work from within joining these two styles can truly benefit our practice as a whole.
